I don't know what that thing is, but I bet The Rock is dumber than it.

Doom

directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak (Crade 2 the Grave)
story by David Callaham
screenplay by David Callaham
and Wesley Strick (The Saint)

produced by John Wells (White Oleander), Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Constantine)

starring The Rock (The Scorpion King), Karl Urban (The Chronicles of Riddick), Rosamund Pike (Die Another Day), Deobia Oparei (Thunderbirds), Razaaq Adoti (Resident Evil: Apocalypse), Richard Brake (Batman Begins), Al Weaver (The Merchant of Venice)

lowdown:  First person action movie adapted from a first person video game.

low expectation:
Finally a film gets the experience of watching a friend play video games by using first person perspective just the way the video game does.  Too bad the movie didn't come out ten years ago when the game was still a hot property and before the Resident Evil movies were released.  The only thing that makes Doom not look exactly like the Resident Evils is that it actually looks worse.  It even looks worse than Jason X.  In fact, I think it might also be the worst movie set on Mars, and that says a lot.

con:  Based on a video game.
